Spectrography for atmospheric neutrons
MADERE is a NUCLETUDEs-designed equipment developped on Airbus financing ; It measures the amount and energy of atmospheric neutrons encountered in an airframe (measurements performed during test flights). NUCLETUDES’ know-how has been very useful to define such a high performance and compact equipment.
MADER only requires a power source (+28 V).
The recording cadence is programmable. The measurement data are stored on non-volatile memories.
MADERE’s programming and measurement data retrieval actions are performed using a standard Personnal Computer connected to MADERE via a dedicated datalink.
Dosimeters
NUCLETUDES has developed several in-house solutions for dosimetry. One can especially mention a specific dosimeter able to cope with the very brief radiation duration (a few tens of nanoseconds) obtained with the flash X-ray Balzac 2 and 3 facilities.
